29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(iii)(A): Vehicles or mechanical equipment capable of having parts of their structures elevated near energized overhead lines were not operated so that a clearance of 10 feet (305 cm) was maintained: a) 3100 Jestice Farm Road and Pepper Pond Lane, Laurel, DE: On or about November 23, 2019, the employer failed to ensure employees operating a Peterbilt Tractor with an elevated trailer, maintained 10 feet of clearance from overhead power lines, exposing employees to electrical hazards. An employee sustained fatal injuries when the elevated trailer contacted a 7,200 Volt overhead powerline.
