29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: In Building 472 Painting Area, the following exit routes had obstructions in the doorways: a) Hazardous Materials Storage Room: A chain was strung across the exit discharge. b) Exit door (#27) adjacent to paint booth: Pallets were stored in front of the exit discharge. Employees were exposed to fire hazards from not being able to safely egress from the building in the event of a fire or emergency.
