29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) Hallway to Main Entrance: The exit access to the main entrance to the facility, was blocked by boxes of product and empty wooden pallets reducing the width of the exit egress to 24 1/4 and 26 1/2 inches, on or about 11/26/2019. b) Warehouse #2, Front of Building: The exit door was blocked by a forklift, on or about 11/26/2019. c) Warehouse #2, Front of Building: The exit egress was blocked by boxes of product and empty cardboard boxes, on or about 11/26/2019. d) Warehouse #2, Back of Building: The exit door was blocked by material stored in front of the door, on or about 11/26/2019. e) Warehouse #2, Back of Building: The exit egress was blocked by boxes of product and empty cardboard boxes, reducing the width of the exit egress 19 inches, on or about 11/26/2019. BY THIS DATE THE EMPLOYER MUST EITHER CORRECT THE ALLEGED VIOLATION(S) OR IMPLEMENT A FIRE SAFETY POLICY, AS OUTLINED IN 29 CFR 1910.38 WHICH INCLUDES THE EVACUATION REQUIREMENTS OF 29 CFR 1910.157(b).
