29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift:  A.)  Viking Erectors Corp, 126 East 7th Street, Erie, PA  16501, west side of the structure, on or about December 2, 2019 and times prior thereto:  An employee was performing work operations that included, but was not limited to, installing soffit.  The employee was working in an elevated position from the basket of a JLG 660SJ aerial lift (S/N:  0300186793).  The employee was wearing a personal fall arrest harness, but was not tied into the anchor point on the basket of the aerial lift.    B.)  Viking Erectors Corp, 126 East 7th Street, Erie, PA  16501, west side of the structure, on or about December 2, 2019 and times prior thereto:  An employee was performing work operations that included, but was not limited to, installing soffit.  The employee was working in an elevated position from the basket of a JLG 660SJ aerial lift (S/N:  0300186793).  The employee was not wearing personal fall arrest.    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
