29 CFR 1910.176(b): Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse: Employee(s) were exposed to crushing / struck by hazards. An employee working in the dock area of the store located at 104 S. Broadway, Leavenworth, Kansas was struck and severely injured when approximately 9 wooden pallets fell over. The pallets were stacked on top of gaylords (cardboard boxes), an unstable platform to store pallets.
