29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: A) On or about 12/04/2019, 644 East Street, Plainville, CT job site: Employer used two 50-foot long extension cords, in series, to transfer electrical power from a building, approximately 75 feet away from the job site where the employee was installing siding on the apartment complex exterior structure. The employee used a cordless electric drill that its batteries were charged under the scaffold area. The extension cords were not equipped with any strain relief to prevent the insulation being pulled from its fitting.
