29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) Battery Shop: On December 3, 2019 and times prior, employees charge and service mining equipment batteries which contain sulfuric acid. There were not suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eye in the immediate work area. Production Efficiency Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1167428, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 28, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 5 Taylor Street, Ragland, WV.

29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: (a) Break Area: On December 11, 2019 and times prior, the employer did not ensure that all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of lead. Wipe samples indicated the presence of 3.472 micrograms, 2.413 micrograms and 16.24 micrograms of lead on the surfaces of the lunch table, refrigerator handle and washing machine knob respectively. Production Efficiency Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1025(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1167428, citation number 1, item number 4c and was affirmed as a final order on October 28, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 5 Taylor Street, Ragland, WV.
