29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) B&M Finishers, Inc./Kenilworth, NJ- Throughout the Shop Area: On or about November 20, 2019, eyewash facilities were not provided within the work area such as the anodizing area for immediate use in case of an emergency. Employees were engaged in metal coating operations and using corrosive chemicals such as, but not limited to nitric acid, sulfuric acid and boric acid. Employees were exposed to corrosives chemicals that can cause eye injury.
