One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices,electronic safety devices, etc.  a) On 11/26/2019 the RA Die Cut Series 800 FL Smith Machine (Envelope Maker), allowed employees access to the rotating rollers due to the envelope maker no having a guarding method such as but not limited to either barrier guards or electronic safety devices that would stop the motion of the rollers when passed through.  Employees were exposed to a caught in hazard while operating the machine.
