29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about December 5, 2019, at the commercial construction site, where employee(s) were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 30-feet above the ground level below while working without the use of a guardrail system or personal fall arrest system. The D & D Roof Services, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1330227, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 27, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 20602 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
