29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    (a)  On or about December 4, 2019, and at times prior, employees were exposed to laceration injuries while using a Dayton band saw, located in the machine shop, with an inadequate guard on the exposed blade.  The adjustable guard was not constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle.    (b) On or about December 4, 2019, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that employees working with a belt sander, identified as number 003289, located in the machine shop, were protected from ingoing nip point hazards on the sanding belt.     (c)  On or about December 4, 2019, and at times prior, employees were exposed to laceration injuries while using a Rockwell/Delta band saw, located in the machine shop, without a guard on the exposed blade.
