OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees were exposed to fall hazards while entering and exiting the aircraft cargo bin area. a. At the Southwest Airlines ground operations on the Orlando International Airport, employees were exposed to falls from 52 inches when walking up and down the Beltloader while loading and unloading cargo from aircraft cargo compartments without fall protection, on or about December 11, 2019, Southwest Airlines Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1295633 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on (December 3, 2018), with respect to a workplace located at Tampa International Airport.
