29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: (a) On or about 12/12/2019 - Lower Shop at Welder stations 1 & 2, employees were exposed to fire and electric shock hazards when flexible cords were connected in series with relocatable power taps and splitters to power equipment such as, but not limited to, portable grinders, microwaves, stereo, dusk-to-dawn light, and work lights and an extension cord had bare wires that had been covered with tape. (b) On or about 12/12/2019 - Lower Shop at Paint Bay, employees were exposed to fire hazards when flexible cords were used to as a substitute for fixed wiring to power a dusk-to-dawn light and a 4-outlet receptacle that had a burn mark on one of the receptacles.
