29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a) Everlasting Roofing located at 1524 Northam Rd, Upper Arlington, OH 43220: On and preceding December 10, 2019, the employer did not ensure that employees wore eye protection while utilizing pneumatic nail guns. Workers were installing roofing shingles using a pneumatic nail gun powered at 90-120 psi without the use of eye protection. The following condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards to the eyes.

Roofers were installing shingles and a skylight on a roof that varied from 10-18 feet without the use of proper fall protection which exposed them to falls up to 18 feet.
