OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. a). Cotton Gin - On or about and times prior to December 11, 2019, employees were exposed to the unexpected energization of Golden Eagle Lint Cleaners (model: 24D) during maintenance and servicing tasks that included, but were not limited to, the removal of blockages from the feed rollers, thus exposing employees to a caught-in hazard.
