29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Warehouse/Pallet Jack Charging Area: The employer did not supply employees with an eye wash station that could provide 15 minutes of continuous flow to employees that are exposed to corrosive chemicals when adding water to the electric pallet jack batteries, on or about 12/17/19. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: a) Warehouse/Pallet Jack Charging area: The employer did not develop a written hazard communication program for employees that were exposed to corrosive chemical such as but not limited to sulfuric acid, when adding water to pallet jack batteries, on or about 12/17/19. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
