29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Main Shop: On or about December 17, 2019 and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while diluting corrosive chemicals for use in the workplace including, but not limited to; Purple Power Industrial Strength Cleaner/Degreaser (potassium hydroxide) with a pH of 11-12, and SuperClean Degreaser with a pH of 12.5 - 13.8.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the appropriate hazard warnings: a) Main Shop: On or about December 17, 2019 and at times prior, employees were exposed to chemical hazards while working with chemicals such as but not limited to; Purple Power Industrial Strength Cleaner/Degreaser (sodium hydroxide, diethylene glycol) and SuperClean Degreaser (sodium metasilicate, sodium hydroxide). The employer failed to ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provides at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals.
