OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Public Law 91-596, the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees, in that employees were exposed to:__not following procedure by reattaching the bolts to the lid of the wash tank after removing them to clean.__________________________.   (a) Wash tank - On or about November 1, 2019 the chem lab did not reattach the bolts to the lid of the wash tank.  A maintenance crew worker stepped onto the lid the lid slipped causing the employee's leg to go into the acid.
