29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): (a) Majestic Metals, Inc at 7700 N. Washington Denver, Co 80229: On or before 1/2/20 the employer did not develop or implement a hazard communication program in accordance with this standard. The employer's written hazard communication program is dated 2002. It is not compliant with the updated Globally Harmonized System (GHS) which went into effect in 2012. This condition exposed employees to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to: -steel welding fumes -aluminum welding fumes -paints -solvents -lubricants

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) Majestic Metals, Inc at 7700 N. Washington Denver, Co 80229: On or before 1/2/20 the employer did not provide effective information and training on the chemicals used in the workplace in accordance with this standard. The employer's written hazard communication program is dated 2002. It is not compliant with the updated Globally Harmonized System (GHS) which went into effect in 2012. 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: (a) Majestic Metals, Inc at 7700 N. Washington Denver, Co 80229: On or before 1/2/20 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that a flexible pendant cable was not equipped with strain relief from its connection to its junction box located on the ceiling. This condition exposed employees to electrical shock and fire hazards.
