29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Production Area: On or about 1/2/2020, the point of operation of the Kensol Hot Stamping Machine, Model #K36T, Serial #T3680DA, was not adequately guarded in that the safety interlocking device was not working properly and allowed the machine to function with the front safety guard open.
