29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level: a) On January 3, 2020, employees working from frame scaffolding were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 23 feet. Service Masonry, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1386190, citation 1, item 2b, and was affirmed final order on September 18, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 3632 N Magnolia Ave, Chicago, IL 60613. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
