Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. (a) On or about January 6, 2020, at the construction site located at N120W12431 Freistadt Rd, Germantown, Wisconsin, employees were performing roofing work on a two story residential home with a pitch of approximately 8 in 12 and up to approximately 10 8/10 feet in height with no fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to a fall hazard.
