29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Attic Level - Employees were installing plywood decking near the edge without using fall protection and exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet and 8 inch, on or about 01/07/2020. b) First Floor - Employees were working near wall opening that had a width of 12 feet and exposed to a fall hazard of up to 10 feet and 4 inches, on or about 01/07/2020. c) Front Entrance - Employees were using an 18 inch wide chicken board ramp without a guardrail to gain access to the first floor and exposed to a fall hazard of 10 feet, on or about 01/07/2020. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
