29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1): The employer did not initiate and maintain accident prevention programs as necessary to comply with this part: (a) Miller Brothers Construction, on or about January 8th, 2020, at the location of 14210 Kneisel Rd., Vermillion, OH, 44089: Employees were performing framing work without the benefit of accident prevention programs to identify and mitigate hazardous conditions. Employees were exposed to hazards such as falls of approximately 13 feet without fall protection or fall protection training and struck by flying object hazards in the eyes without eye protection.

(a) Miller Brothers Construction, on or about January 8th, 2020, at the location of 14210 Kneisel Rd., Vermillion, OH, 44089: Employees were using a pneumatic nail gun to perform framing work without the benefit of eye protection. Particles flying back could strike the employee's eyes. Miller Brothers Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard (1926.102(a)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1231265, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 6/27/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 6367 Hooper Dr., Medina, OH, 44256.
