29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): When portable ladders are used for access to an upper landing surface, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder is used to gain access: 54 Union St., Framingham, MA: On or about January 8, 2020, an employee was observed using an A frame ladder, to access the top of the wall he was framing, which did not extend any distance past the upper landing surface he was accessing. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
