29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly:  (a) Seattle Vet Center located at 305 South Lucile Street Room 140 Seattle, WA;  The Amerex fire extinguisher mounted on the wall adjacent to Room 132 was not inspected monthly.  This exposes employees to possible smoke inhalation hazards if they try to extinguish a small fire and the fire extinguisher is inoperable. Note:  Applies to any extinguishers provided in the workplace.  The Vet Center was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1044121, citation number 1, item number 2B and was affirmed as a final order on May 7, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at Yakima, WA.
