29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. Worksite: The employer did not provide training and information for the employees required to use 14-foot portable aluminum Stokes orchard ladders (ladders) to enable the employees to recognize hazards related to ladders and the procedures to minimize and/or eliminate these hazards. On or about January 8, 2020, one of employees using a ladder to remove Christmas lights from branches of a tree fell off the ladder while the employee was descending and sustained an ankle injury.
