29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii) - The guarding device was not in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, was not so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle. a) 53 Commerce Drive - The employee's hand was not protected from an in-running nip when the employee opened a guard on a Retroflex, Fox Series (No. 20165685) in-line printer for Fanfold and reached into an area between the impression and print cylinders to catch falling paper within the machine during a web break Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
