29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees hands were exposed to hazardous condition(s): On or about November 7, 2019 at 1064 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL 33134, the employer did not ensure employees who were required to perform cleaning/sanitizing activities were provided appropriate hand protection while using hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to, Heavy Duty Delimera a corrosive, (with a pH of <1); Low Temp 10% Dish Machine Sanitizer a corrosive, (with a pH of 12.5 to 13) and Victoria Bay Germicidal Ultra Bleach a corrosive, (with a pH of 12 to 12.5) where employees were only provided food grade vinyl gloves instead of Rubber, Nitrile, PVC, or other type of chemically resistant gloves.
