29 CFR 1910.133(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee who wears prescription lenses while engaged in operations that involve eye hazards wears eye protection that incorporates the prescription in its design, or wears eye protection that can be worn over the prescription lenses: A) Middle area of facility, on or about January 17, 2020, and or times prior to, an employee was using a power drill to insert metal screws into steel beams while wearing prescription glasses that were not rated as safety glasses, thereby exposing the employees to eye injuries.
