The materials used, such as but not limited to the hardy plank, contained crystalline silica. The employer had not developed implemented or maintained a written hazard communication program, as required by the standard.

The materials used, such as but not limited to the hardy plank, contained crystalline silica. Training information on the health hazards associated with exposure to respirable crystalline silica (Cancer, lung effects, immune system effects, and kidney effects) and the specific tasks in the workplace that could result in exposure to respirable crystalline silica were not provided.
