29 CFR 1926.304(f): Section 4.1.2(a) American National Standards Institute 01.1-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery as adopted by 29 CFR 1926.304(f): Circular hand-fed rip saws were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed:   (a)  Fourth Floor, Unit 8 - On or about January 16, 2020, flooring mechanics were using a DeWalt 10 inch portable table saw (serial no. 2013-11-CT-225972) to rip 1 X 8 X 3/8 inch flooring lumber while the saw's rotating blade was not protected by a hood or similar suitable guarding.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
