29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a) New office construction located at 11380 State Bridge Road, Alpharetta, GA: Rear side of building: On or about 01/10/2020, and at times prior, the employer failed to inspect all of the electrical cords prior to the start of the work shift, in that a 50-ft. extension/flexible cord used to power a Makita (Model 5007F) 7-1/4-inch Circular Saw had a torn outer casing, and damaged strain relief and was not repaired or removed from service.
