OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employee were exposed to fall hazards: a) Ashford, AL; On or about January 9, 2020 and at times prior to the employer failed to ensure that the hoist used for personnel lifting met the applicable provisions for design, construction, installation, testing, inspection, maintenance, modification, repair and operations as prescribed by a registered professional engineer, maintained on-site and followed when manufacturers specifications were unavailable exposing the employees to fall hazards. b) Ashford, AL; On or about January 9, 2020 and at times prior to the employer failed to conduct trial testing and proof testing on the hoist line used to hoist personnel exposing the employees to fall hazards.
