29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying exist. (a) On or about January 21, 2020, the employer, Global Construction , LLC, as the controlling employer, failed to ensure that employees of Garnica, LLC, subcontractor, were protected from jobsite hazards due to the lack of effective frequent and regular inspections being conducted by a competent person. Hazards that workers were exposed to including falls greater than 6 feet during roofing work without any method of fall protection.
