29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): On or about January 21, 2020, an employee was exposed to fall hazards while performing work on top of a garage roof at a residential construction site, at a height of approximately 14 feet, without the use of a fall protection system. John Hill dba Hill's Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1408917, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 31, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2351 Lakeshore Drive, Columbia, IL 62236. John Hill dba Hill's Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1142162, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 1, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 832 Bridgeway, O'Fallon, IL 62269.
