29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed. On 1/22/2020, at the Buford facility, the employer did not conduct a periodic inspection to correct for deficiencies in the procedures which included: not specifying the location of lockouts and how to complete lockout of equipment. Also, new equipment had been installed in the facility and service and maintenance work conducted on it but no specific written procedures were created for the equipment, including electrical panels 613 and 516 and the FK Box saw.
