Such programs would support the employer and employees in identifying and avoiding potential hazards such as preventing falls from heights on the worksite.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Eisenhardt Homes, on or about January 23, 2020 at the address of 110 Timber Trail Anna, OH: The employer did not ensure employees had been trained in the appropriate use of fall protection such as, but not limited to, the use of personal fall arrest systems or alternative measures while performing various roofing operations, including but not limited to sheathing. Employees were unable to identify fall hazards on the job site, exposing them to fall hazards of approximately 16ft.
