29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(10): The employer did not ensure that workplace labels or other forms of warnings were prominently displayed on the container or readily available in the work area throughout each work shift: On or about January 30, 2020, there were three 32 ounce plastic containers containing disinfectant, degreaser and mud cleaner that were not labeled with the contents. Employees were exposed to chemical hazards including skin irritation. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: On or about January 20, 2020, the employer did not train the employees on the specific safety and health hazards of chemicals they are required to work with such as, but not limited to, disinfectant, degreaser and cleaner which can cause burns and skin irritation. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
