Employees worked in areas where there was a danger from falling objects were not wearing head protection. Violation observed on or about January 29, 2020

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. 108 Windsor Rd., Belle Mead, NJ - Country Club Estates - Block 2040, Lot 35 The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls. Employees engaged in residential framing activities worked at or near the edge from the second level deck, without any means of fall protection. Violation observed on or about January 29, 2020 Five Star Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1404898, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 8, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at Regency at Readington, Building 4, Lot 41-43, Whitehouse Station, NJ.
