Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached) where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 m) above the walking/working surface, were not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system:    location: 3rd floor, building 3  on or about: 1/28/20    a) Employees, installing windows in perimeter wall openings, were not provided with adequate fall protection. The employees were exposed to a fall of 22 feet 10 inches.       NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
