29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; including a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazards and identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form: Point Mugu Building 311 paint booth and media blast areas: Employees use respiratory protection, such as filtering face piece and full-face respirators, when changing filters in the media blast and paint booths. The employer's exposure determination consisted of nuisance dust hazards for the blast media. Employees are exposed to potential respiratory irritants while performing the filter changes without the identification of all respiratory hazards, such as but not limited to chromium, cadmium, lead, zinc, and/or crystalline silica.
