Arturo Juarez, Chamblee, GA - On or about 01/29/2020, at 3550 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Chamblee, GA, 30341, employees were exposed to eye injuries from flying objects such as wood chips, nails and sawdust when using a nail gun while performing roofing operations without eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  On or about 1/29/2020 at 3550 Chamblee Dunwoody Road Chamblee, GA where the employer failed to enforce the use of personal fall protection. A roofer was observed exposed to 25-foot fall hazards from the 6/12 pitched roof.
