29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. a. On or about January 30, 2020, the flexible cord, which connected the overhead crane to the control pendant did not have adequate strain relief provided that prevented pull from being transmitted to the joint where the flexible cord connected to the pendant allowing wires to become exposed.
