On or about January 28, 2020, and at times prior, throughout Florida Cabinet Finishing, Inc.'s paint shop booths, located at 3301 McLemore Drive, Pensacola, Florida 32514, the employer failed to maintain the interior surfaces of spray booths smooth and continuous without edges and otherwise designed to prevent pocketing of residues, exposing employees fire hazards.

29 CFR 1910.107(b)(5)(i): The spraying operations was not designed, installed or maintained that the average air velocity over the open face of the booth (or booth cross section during spraying operations) shall be not less than 100 linear feet per minute:   On or about January 28, 2020, and at times prior, throughout Florida Cabinet Finishing, Inc.'s paint shop booths #3 and 4, located at 3301 McLemore Drive, Pensacola, Florida 32514, the employer failed to maintain the average air velocity over the open face of the booths at no less than 100 linear feet per minute, exposing employees to hazardous chemicals and resulting in health hazards such as, but not limited to acute and chronic respiratory injury and illness.
