OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that:    (a) 99 Rines Ridge Road, Drill Pad: On January 22, 2020, the employer did not have sufficient procedures for pigging operations to document the processes to avoid the introduction of an amount of compressed are that exceeded the maximum psi of the water tank.    Among other methods, one ore more feasible and acceptable methods of abatement to correct the resulting hazard would be to develop a separate set of written instructions that had to be reviewed prior to starting work on pigging operations by all employees that were engaged in this process.  These written standards would address the setup, launch, receiving, monitoring, and communication during pigging operations which includes verification and monitoring of pressures and ensures that all non-essential personnel are not in the vicinity of equipment during operations.
