29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury.  On and before January 30, 2020, employees framing a multistory apartment building located at 1000 N. River Dr. Wausau, WI had not been trained to understand and follow the OSHA standards that apply to construction, including but not limited to fall, electrical, and struck by hazards and standards.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.  On and about January 30, 2020, employees framing a multi-family apartment building located at 1000 N. River Dr. Wausau, WI  were exposed to falls when they had not been trained to recognize and eliminate fall hazards or to understand and follow the OSHA Standards that apply to fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   On and about January 30, 2020, employees were exposed to falls from the second floor deck of a multi-family residential project located at 1000 N. River Dr. Wausau, WI when no form of fall protection was set up or used while decking and framing exterior walls.     Raramuri Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1134088, citation number 1,  item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 4/13/16, with respect to a workplace located at 9001 N. Prospect, Kansas City, MO 64112.
