The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated under 1926.502(e): a. On or about January 30, 2020, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing siding installation operations from a Genie S-60X aerial lift, approximately twenty-eight (28) feet above the ground, was not wearing a personal fall arrest system, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards.
