29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a) Residential construction at 5811 Union Walk Dr. Union City, GA. 30291 roof : On or about 02/03/2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to eye hazards in that eye protection was not provided to employees while operating a pneumatic nail gun while performing framing activities. Mr. Fidel Ramon was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1357401, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/30/2019, with respect to a workplace located at Creekside Overlook Subdivision, lot 9 and 11 Austell, GA. 30345.
