Every enclosed workplace shall be so constructed, equipped, and maintained, so far as reasonably practicable, as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, and other vermin. A continuing and effective extermination program shall be instituted where their presence is detected.  Location: To include but not limited to the bird seed area in and around Aisle 46, employee break room, and check out areas.  On or about February 5, 2020, the rodents had been detected in the building and an effective extermination program was not instituted.  Rodent feces and bird seed consumed by rodents was visible in employee work areas such as on shelving, retail products, and the floor.
